TERMS & CONDITIONS

1 BOOKING ARRANGEMENTS
1.1 Your contract for your booking is with North Sea Lifting Ltd, 42 Queens Road, Aberdeen, AB15 4YE.
1.2 To make a booking we can be contacted by telephone on 01224 202509, by fax on 01224 208044 or by email at: bookings@nsl-aberdeen.com or jane@nsl-aberdeen.com
1.3 On receipt of either a Purchase order number, debit/credit card details we will send you confirmation of the booking.
By confirming your order you are accepting these terms and conditions on your own behalf and on behalf of any person you book onto a course with us.
1.4 In advance of your course, we will send you Course details and joining instructions, please check that the details provided are correct. If any parts of the details are incorrect please contact us immediately.
2 PRICE AND PAYMENT
2.1 The price of the courses can be found in our Course Directory, Joining Instructions and Website.
2.2 Client / Company Bookings
We will invoice you on completion of the training course
Our invoices are due for payment within 30 days of receipt of invoice.
2.3 Individual / Self Sponsored Clients
We accept the following forms of payment; credit/debit cards and cheques.
3 CANCELLATION
3.1 We reserve the right to cancel any courses booked due to insufficient numbers and / or any unexpected circumstances beyond our control. In the event of cancellation, we will give you as much notice as possible and offer alternative dates. If these are not suitable, we will refund any monies paid.
3.2 Should you wish to cancel the booking please inform us as soon as possible.
3.3 Our cancellation charges are based on how much notice we are given and are calculated as a percentage of the total cost of your course:
3 days or less: 100% cancellation charge applies.
4-7 Days: 50% cancellation charge applies.
8-14 Days: 25% cancellation charge applies.
We will do our best to accommodate you on alternative dates if possible to avoid cancellation charges.
4 BEFORE YOU ATTEND
4.1 It is your responsibility to ensure that you/or the delegates you book are medically fit and able to fully and safely participate in the relevant course(s) you or they are booked onto.
4.2 Should you require any accommodation, we can be contacted for details but do not book any accommodation, this is your responsibility.
5 COURSE START DATE
5.1 It is your responsibility to make arrangements to arrive at the course location on time. Full course details including start date, start time and location will be sent to you in your Course Joining Instructions. We may not be able to accommodate late arrivals. We are not responsible for any transportation costs.
5.2 You will be informed in advance of your course start date of any equipment, clothing or other items necessary that you are required to bring for participation in the relevant course.
6 DAMAGE
You will be held responsible for any damage you cause to our facilities, furnishings, premises or equipment. In such an event you will be liable for the cost incurred by us to rectify the damage.
7 HEALTH AND SAFETY
When participating in one of our courses the delegate must fully comply with our health and safety policy, a copy of which is available on request in advance of your course and at the course location. It is your duty to read and understand this policy and to comply with all of our instructions. (See Weatherford Downhole Technology Ltd’s Policy). You must follow our requests and requirements in respect of legal obligations
8 CLOTHING AND PERSONAL PROPERTY
We do not accept responsibility for your property. Goods deposited in the cloakrooms or storage facilities or left unattended on the premises are deposited at the owner’s risk.
9 YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
9.1 You hereby accept responsibility for any damage to our property caused by you or participants who you book onto the course.
9.2 You and/or any participants you book onto the course must behave responsibly at all times.
If in our reasonable opinion your/or their standard of behaviour is in our belief unacceptable we reserve the right to suspend or cancel your/or their involvement in the course without liability.
9.3 You may not take alcohol or use illegal substances. Any person found in possession of illegal substances or alcohol or reasonably believed to have taken, or used any such substances or alcohol will be immediately required to leave the course.
10 COURSE MATERIALS
All course materials supplied to you are subject to our copyright and must not be copied, published or used in any way without obtaining our express written permission.
