NSL Aberdeen | Established 1989 - Head Office & Main Training Centre
Our Head Office in Queens Road, Aberdeen houses our technical department where all our technical documents, training course material and safety awareness products are developed. Our in-house graphics & multimedia department create the final products using cutting edge computer technology. The head office also manages and supports our training and technical services worldwide.
All the practical training listed in this site is presented at our bespoke training facility in Dyce, Aberdeen. This training can also be delivered at clients’ sites on and offshore if required.
Wherever our clients are working internationally, when it comes to safety, we intend to be able to look after their interests on a global scale. That is our commitment to the oil and gas industry.
NSL Caspian - Branch Office | Established 2004
From our office in Baku, Azerbaijan, NSL offer the placement of specialist personnel qualified in the field of crane operations, mechanical handling and lifting equipment, to assist in the control of all aspects of their client’s lifting operations. NSL personnel are exclusively based at various locations in Azerbaijan and Georgia and provide the following services:
• Maintenance / Certification Requirements, Rigging Loft Management
• Assessment of suitability of Contractors and Equipment Types for Particular Projects
• Training, Review and Continued Assessment /Coaching of Personnel
• Provision of Technical Authority / Appointed Person where required
• Liaison with Crane Providers / Operators
• Compilation of Procedural Documents including Method Statements and Risk Assessment
• Technical back-up where necessary from the NSL Aberdeen office
• Call out facilities for out-of-hours working
NSL America | Established 2005
The primary objectives of the Houston, Texas office and the training facility in Broussard, Louisiana are as follows:
- To firmly establish NSL training in the US oil & gas industry, particularly Crane Operations, Rigging & Lifting and Working at Height Rescue
- To actively seek to increase US sales of NSL products and services
- To gain a reputation for innovation and quality in training and publications
- To spread training into other industry sectors and geographical locations within North America
- To use our Houston office as a stepping stone to the South Americas and the Caribbean to promote the US, Spanish & Portuguese translated versions of our safety awareness documents
- To be represented, and to influence, the creation of international standards for the above subjects through alliances and partnerships
