Training Instructor / Assessor

Job Description:

We urgently require Training Instructors / Assessors specialising in crane / rigging & lifting operations to join our expanding UK and overseas teams.

Duties will include: training personnel who are involved with cranes, deck operations rigging & lifting, working at height and mechanical handling and access engineering subjects. Training on other safety related subjects from the NSL portfolio. Providing operational and technical support where required, including rigging supervision. Carrying out various technical audits against the Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations for major UK and overseas on and offshore clients.

Applicants must have a relevant rigging qualification and should preferably be qualified Skills Assessors. Other beneficial experience: Working at Height, Confined Space Entry and Manual Handling. Minimum 10 years’ experience is preferred.

Technical Author with Mechanical / Crane / Lifting Background

Job Description:

We urgently require Technical Authors with a mechanical / crane / lifting background to join our expanding UK and overseas teams.

Duties will include: dealing with technical queries; technical surveys and studies; procedure and report writing; and editing reports. There may also be a requirement to deliver training.

Applicants must have, as a minimum, an HNC in Mechanical Engineering

Minimum 5 years’ experience Is also preferred.

Sales Executive

Job Description:

We require a Sales Executive to join our expanding UK team.

Duties will include:
Continually targeting and sourcing new business; liaising with existing and potential new clients; visiting clients on a regular basis; attending client performance meetings; providing accurate and timely quotations to clients; providing accurate sales reports

The ideal candidate will possess:
Excellent communication skills; excellent computer skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint; knowledge, understanding and familiarisation of offshore oil industry and offshore training; ability to work to deadlines; ability to work on own initiative; ability to communicate with senior client staff

Personal qualities required for position:
Good communication skills; high standards of workmanship; ability to react, work under pressure and to tight deadlines; ability to work alone and as part of a team; willingness to learn.

Excellent package available Minimum 5 years’ experience is also preferred.
